Innovative Consulting Group (ICG), an IT Healthcare Consulting Company, was formed in the spring of 2002 providing healthcare consulting services for Siemens systems and applications, data center consolidation, system integration services and general project management. In 2004, ICG successfully expanded services to include a McKesson practice offering consulting services for McKesson products. In January 2006, ICG introduced its Cerner practice to continue meeting the challenge of the growing needs of clinical software. With over 25 years of healthcare IT industry experience spanning vendor, consulting, and provider environments, Wayne Kinney, CEO, continues to develop a team of experienced consultants, provide top notch customer service, with integrity as the foundation of both employee and customer relationships.
Wayne Kinney, Senior Executive  Wayne’s background as a senior executive with 22 years of non-profit healthcare experience in both line and staff positions include operations, applications, and Executive Management positions. In his management roles, he was responsible for corporate data center consolidations, application selection, strategic planning, and leadership responsibilities for the largest non-profit Catholic healthcare system, consisting of 48 hospitals.
Diane Feyen, Vice President of Consulting Resources  Our Vice President of Consulting Resources, Diane Feyen, has over 17 years of Healthcare IT and Executive Management experience. Her focus has been on the management of implementation teams, development of Project Managers and methodology, leading Ancillary implementations, and directing successful Data Center consolidations.
Colleen O'Brien, Vice President of Business Partner Relationships  Colleen O’Brien is a 20+ year IT veteran with both healthcare vendors and consulting firms. She began her career with SMS® serving in many roles including; Product Manager, Beta Manager, Project Manager, and Consultant Implementation Manager. As the VP of Business Development, Colleen was responsible for building and developing the Sales, Marketing, Recruiting, Practice, and Engagement Management teams. In her current role as VP, Business Partner Relationships, Colleen’s focus is on developing and nurturing our Partner Firms and Vendors.
Jerry Morgan, Vice President of Business Development  Jerry Morgan, Vice President of Business Development, is responsible for Marketing, Sales, Practice Directors and Engagement Management for ICG. Jerry has worked in the IT industry for over 30 years and has experience in sales, implementation, project management and executive management.
Dick Lynch, Chief People Officer  Dick Lynch, Chief People Officer, is responsible for recruiting efforts, orientation, staff development and human resource oversight. He recently retired as the senior vice president of Human Resources for Vectren Corporation, a $2B publicly traded energy holding company headquartered in Evansville, Indiana. His HR career also included increasing levels of responsibility during his 12 years at Exxon/Mobile Corporation and 7 years at Bristol Myers Squibb.
Jeff Kinney, Vice President of Administration & CFO  As Vice President of Administration & CFO, Jeff has the lead role for the design of administrative infrastructure as well as ensuring the financial strength and stability of ICG. In addition, his leadership and oversight of our technology investments ensure all employees have access to current tools that enable them to successfully exceed customer expectations. His professional experience also includes leadership responsibilities for Operations Management in both acute care environments and the consulting industry.
Our executive management team understands the importance of championing our customers’ requirements by producing value add positions to assist them in achieving their key initiatives. Our employees are seasoned professionals with an average of 15 years in Healthcare IT. Along with delivering consistent quality to clients, our consulting service rates are considerably less than the vendor or larger consulting firms.
